Nikolaj Petrovič Krasnov#
Russian architect Nikolaj Krasnov (1864-1939) emigrated to what used to be the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (SHS), after the October Revolution. Since 1922, he worked at the Ministry of Construction in the Kingdom of SHS. He designed several important buildings in Belgrade and elsewhere on the territory of the Kingdom of SHS and Yugoslavia. His important legacy, kept in the Collection of Graphics of the National Library of Serbia, consists of four units: an album with watercolour paintings and photographs of the architecture of Serbian houses from 1923; watercolour sketches of Yugoslav Military Decorations from 1930; architectural drawings for the project of the Bridge of King Alexander I from 1934 and 65 watercolour pictures for the interior of the House of the National Parliament from 1935.#
