Mihailo S. Petrov's Seven Linocuts#
Mihailo S. Petrov (1901–1983) was one of the pioneers of modern Serbian graphics. During the opening of the new NBS building in 1973, he consigned a 1971 graphic map of the Seven Linocuts to the National Library. The linocuts from this collection were first published in 1921 and 1922 in avant-garde periodicals "Zenit", "Dada-tank" and "Út". The linocuts were the first abstract works of Serbian graphic art.#
